Job Description

As a Scrum Master cum Business Analysis, youll act as a servant leader for your team(s) by facilitating clear communication to management and to the team. Our Scrum Masters are open, approachable, collaborative, and enjoy working with passionate people. Theyre proactive in solving problems to help their team(s) succeed. The Scrum Master drives Agile and Lean frameworks that result in quality product delivery and continuous improvement. The Scrum Master is responsible for removing impediments that hinder the team from reaching their goals and has a flexible approach that enables the team to rapidly respond to changes. In addition to working with the development team to create new solutions, youll help optimize existing technology and identify new capabilities. While your role requires deep technological skills including expertise in everything from data management to functional design it also hinges on teamwork and leadership.Responsibilities:

  • Works with the Product owner to align team with the product vision, sprint goals, and other necessary information
  • Creates an environment of collaboration within the teams that allows for open dialogue and productive solutions for resolving conflicts
  • Lead the functional analysis during the Analysis & Design phase of projects
  • Deliver product demonstrations and presentations to new and existing clients
  • Provide leadership within the design discussion and influence stakeholders in line with the our product and future strategy
  • Document the client requirements functional documents and artefacts
  • Manage the documentation review and approval process with the stakeholders
  • Take ownership of the functional solution and associated artefacts
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with the project and product teams
  • Provide guidance and support to more junior team members
  • Prepare and deliver training sessions to the business users
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
  • Strong familiarity and adherence to core Agile values and principles
  • Experience as a practicing Scrum Master on a team
  • Proficiency in business applications, data usage, and management
  • Ability to liaison between lines of business and the development team, while working with a wide range of stakeholders and collaborating with your team
  • Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
  • Experience obtaining requirements from business users and subject matter experts, reviewing business priorities, and/or analyzing options & risks.
  • Ability to write and create detailed business and functional requirements
  • Experience creating functional system requirements specifications
  • Pro-actively lead/participate in design/solution architecting of target state
  • Ability to interface directly with Senior Business Stakeholders and users with a view to influence and drive consensus.
  • Create detailed features, stories and keeping the documentation up-to-date
  • Provide functional support throughout the project lifecycle, from requirements/functional specs to reviewing SIT and UAT test cases, and supporting all the testing phases.
  • Knowledge of software development life cycle in water fall and agile methodology
