Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Visit the branches under respective regions allotted on a regular basis to check the security situation in the branch are asper standards and shall ensure tightening of the security in the branches by educating the staff members to comply with the security instruction correctly
  • Ensure the Security guards posted to the branches are smart and physically fit and conform to the standards prescribed by the company and are attending duty in proper uniform
  • Check whether the security guards are doing their duties properly which will help to ensure the security of the ranch whether they are checking the visitors/ customers to the branch before allowing entry to the branch
  • Ensure that the branch staff are complying with the instructions regarding the procedure for opening and closing of the branches
  • Contact the security agency providing the security guards and ensure that physically unfit guards are removed, and substitute guards are provided immediately. Also ensure that substitute guards are provided to branch where the regular guards is absent for more than one day
  • Ensure that the KYC formalities of the guards are done properly, and the security guards are enabled for punching their attendance in the branches
  • Evaluate the performance of the third-party security agency regularly if any deviations found, immediately make arrangement for recruiting new security agencies who can provide better service, get the quotation forwarded to the vigilance department through the regional office after ascertaining and verifying the ability of the agency to provide better service and better securities guards
  • Check d & verify whether the security equipment such as burglar alarms and CCTV are working properly during the visits
  • Educate the staff members on the timely using of the security equipments including giving prompt response to the alarm alert calls
  • Train the security guards on techniques to prevent entry of undesirable elements and criminals to the branch by proper checking of the visitors and maintaining proper access control
  • Monitor the works of the Security officers posted in the various regions
  • Visit all Regions once in 6 months, check the branches randomly and ensure that the
  • Security supervisors and security officers are doing their works properly and the security of our branches are strengthened
  • Minimum of 50 branch visits to be completed per month
