Job Description

Role :Selenium Testing Automation(Experience 2-7 years)We are looking for a senior tester to assess software quality through manual and automated testing. Candidate should be self-motivated, creative and proactive, to work successfully in a fast-paced environment including multiple platforms and architectures, diverse technologies and different environments. The individual will work closely with developers, project managers, network engineers and other stakeholders throughout the SDLC, executing test iterations, tracking / reporting results, troubleshooting and coordinating defect resolution. The individual should have a strong understanding of SDLC processes and the QA lifecycle and methodology. The candidate should be good in Software testing design, planning, scripting and execution.Experience and Skills:Selenium Automation Skills:

• Planning skills
• Whitebox testing preffered
• J meter-atleast one non functional tool
• Exposure on API/Mobile
• Willing to take lead and guide the juniors

PLANNING SKILLS

• Should be able to define test goals & objectives (Test Strategy & Test Planning)
• Should have good automation testing skills on Web Application
• Should have good experience in Functional automation tool (preferably Selenium web driver and framework implementation).
• Should have programming experience (Core Java) that could do white box testing.
• Should have good knowledge or Exposure on Non-Functional testing with various open source tools
• Should have good experience or exposure on continuous integration tools (Jenkins and Maven)
• Should take ownership of assigned product module
• End To End test cycle exposure such as Integration /Functional/ System/ Regression along with DB/ compatibility /Performance/Security testing, along with root cause analysis.
• Also exposed with different testing/validation methodologies
• Sound communication, Great analytical and strong interpersonal skill with full of confidence
• Flexibility to work effectively and collaborate with diverse groups
• Leading the juniors and guiding them
• Organized, Detail oriented, fast & Consistent learner who able prioritize and handle multiple tasks, track changes as each project release which entails a different scope requirements and unique protocols
• High motivation, energy, a commitment to knowledge sharing and mentoring
• Exposure to databases like SQL and Oracle will be a good value addition

Desirable:

• Technical abilities- Knowledge or exposure of Security, Performance tools with Java Scripting will be a big plus
• Develop, document, and continually improve testing best practices
• Some exposure and experience in Healthcare clinical-research domain is a significant plus
• Passion for new technologies, Testing techniques & Knowledge of current industry best practices for software testing methods, processes & testing concepts such as comparison, usability, boundary, and data validation
• Domain knowledge related to clinical research in academic, pharmaceutical, and hospital environments is a plus.

Major Responsibilities:

• Testing the products across multiple platforms & devices ultimately enable us to release rapid product iterations while driving towards a very high level of release quality.
• Analyze, design, and develop Manual and Automated tests; and related documentation for your assigned area of work
• Review Requirement documentation, technical specifications & then develop & execute Functional/System/ Regression script, perform compatibility testing to various features through product release cycles.
• Responsible for definition, creation, maintenance and execution of test Scenarios, test cases, test scripts, Defect reporting and associated data to verify that products conform to design requirements
• Additionally, require to work closely with development team on resolution of issues & assessing the risks, test coverage with QC Team
• Ready for Selenium hands-on, Participate in automation scripting and execution.
• Verify test procedures and accordingly optimized and cover product test requirement as defined by R&D
• Share responsibility for improving testing methodology, processes, strategies and techniques; incorporate these improvements into the overall testing process
• Design, set up, configure and maintain software testing labs and environments.
