Job Description

Role Summary/Purpose:As a Sr. Analyst, Credit Tester, you will have the opportunity to work on major business initiatives that contribute to SYF s growth and productivity objectives. In this role, you will have the responsibility of understanding the Credit Risk strategies and Testing using Synchrony Inhouse tools.The role also needs you to work directly with local manager, business, IT and strategy teams. As a Sr. Analyst, you are required to be proficient in order to understand and test the business requirement independently.Essential Responsibilities:

  • Testing Rule Engine ( Fico DMP, OPEN L, Power Curve, Triad, SMG3, Mainframes) of Credit Risk Strategies.
  • Co-ordination with onsite team
  • Able to set up/debug test environments for testing
  • Execute test cases using Synchrony tools
  • Analyze and validation of the test results before sending to developers
  • Should be able to work on credit/risk projects when required
  • Have experience with performing testing in third party hosted environment
  • Provide post implementation monitoring support
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor s degree
  • 3-4 years of work experience in test case preparation and execution
  • Linux/Unix knowledge
  • Proficient in SQL
  • Java fundamentals or any other scripting Language like VBA etc.
  • Function knowledge of Credit Card Life Cycle Primarily Acquisition, on boarding, Early Life Cycle.
  • Prior knowledge using UFT or Selenium
  • Prior work experience in Financial domain
  • Flexible to work in different shifts
  • Good communication skills
  • Business/commercial bureau knowledge
  • Familiar with Consumer apps processing

Desired Characteristics:
  • Strong Technical abilities and hands on experience strategy Testing and implementation platforms
  • UFT, Selenium, Design Studio, Strategy Manager, Power Curve, TRIAD
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with a wide range of end users.
  • Mainframe knowledge will be added advantage
  • Ability to communicate technical information effectively, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage project delivery.
