Job Description

  • Primary duties would be collection of technical details of competitor products, understanding the system, product baseline creation for scoring, proposing concept for improvement
  • Creation of engineering drawing, checking, and quoting AutoCAD/Inventor sales drawings and customer submittals, ensuring on time delivery and a high level of quality
  • Sustaining, Design and development activities for various product groups like Linear Drainage, Water Safety and Control, Finish plumbing and PEX piping systems to fulfil the needs of customer
  • Responsibilities also include providing equipment drawings, engineering reports and communicating the status of work to the customers located across different time zones as and when required
  • Project management of large sales projects as assigned
  • Provide design concepts with dimensioning and tolerance for made to order (custom) products
  • Generate pricing and product offering for quotation to prospective customers
  • Coordinate additional support activities and post-sales technical support with engineering departments
  • Data entry into Axapta (ERP) system for item master, bill of material, drawing vault, and product data
  • Any other job duties as assigned with a wide degree of creativity
Required Candidate profile
  • BE/ B Tech in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 6 years of experience in the design and application of gravity flow or commercial plumbing systems or in a related area.
  • Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD and appropriate computer skills.
  • Demonstrated experience and application of GD&T with evidence of a high level of quality
