Job Description

    *Senior Associate, Functional Tester, Consumer Banking & Core EngineBusiness FunctionGroup Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Banks operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.Roles & ResponsibilitiesWork with solution architect, infrastructure team, interface lead & delivery leads in finalizing scope of testing Work with business, data migration lead on defining testing scenario and requirement for data migration testing Collaborate with delivery teams and subject matter experts to establish the plan for testing.Develop test procedures and other quality documentation: test plans, test cases, and status reports for management Determine the priority for test scenarios and create execution plans to implement these scenarios Work with other stakeholders in scheduling of testing Define and execute specific test cases for designated functionality Use simulators, POS and other test tools for testing Analyse actual results against the expected ones, log defects in the defect tracking system and ensure closure of any related defects Identify necessary test data to support test conditions and test cases Work with the internal and external teams to resolve any issues surrounding the test environment and test data Participate in solution and testing workshops to identify requirements for testing Write, design, and execute automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically Assist in the enforcement of project deadlines and schedules Ensure strict adherence to agreed design principles Ensure DBS best practices and requirements related to test environment management are followedRequirementsMaster or bachelor s degree in computer science or a related field. 6+ years of proven working experience Knowledge of POS switching, and ISO8583 messaging format Experience working on VISA/MasterCard/JCB/UPI message format and scheme compliance Experience in testing POS switching solution and supporting scheme certification Experience in switch integration with schemes Experience in using scheme simulators Knowledge and experience working on various test automation framework is a plus Suitable candidate should have knowledge of AGILE delivery practises Experience in working on cloud based technologies is a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization VisionPLUS Experience is an added advantage.,
