Job Description

Production Support Engineer(Involves Night Shifts):State Street is looking for a talented Systems Engineer to add to the current Production Technical Support Team. The candidate will have an opportunity to work with a number of applications, clients and keep up with the various technology trends in the market. The ideal candidate is exceptionally talented, motivated and has a passion for working with clients, development and infrastructure teams.Experience 5 years of experience in IT and providing technical expertise in Windows environment including on boarding clients, supporting applications in SaaS production environments with at least 1 year of client facing experience. Programing / scripting experience is a must.Background Should have working experience supporting applications in multitenant production / SaaS environments in Windows and excellent understanding of IT infrastructure.Knowledge, Technical Skills and Ability

  • Expertise in Windows server administration and networking including Windows 12/ 16 servers.
  • Experience in Windows Active Directory Domain Service and Windows Security
  • Must have experience in Power shell scripting and automating process.
  • Must be capable of creating blue prints of client onboarding and developing one click solutions.
  • Must have experience deploying applications in production environments
  • Experience in setting up, monitoring batch jobs and automating / customizing using power shell
  • Working knowledge of MS SQL Server, Oracle databases
  • Troubleshooting client issues in the Production environment
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Willingness to work in various shifts on rotations.
Responsibilities
  • Production support and work with clients in troubleshooting the issues
  • Deploy applications using manual and automated processes in various environments.
  • Work closely with development & IT infrastructure teams to deliver H/W environments
  • Monitor and support production applications and environments
  • Document and maintain installation and operations procedures.
  • Participate in deployment and configuration management activities.
  • Able to automate repeated tasks using PowerShell scripting
  • Support audit process in User Management, Access Management, and Security related activities.
Education/Experience:
  • Desired Education: Bachelors degree in Computer science or Bachelor s degree in Engineering or a Bachelor s degree in Information Technology.
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) will be preferred.
