Job Description

  • The Aviation Planner will manage the preparation of airport planning documents on general aviation and commercial service airports. Planning documents may include but are not limited to: airport master plans, airport layout plans, creation of alternatives, site selection studies, aeronautical surveys, instrument approach feasibility studies, safety and security analysis, justification analyses and benefit cost analysis studies. Keep current with ICAO planning and design aspects.
  • Airport master planning
  • Demand and capacity analysis
  • Facilities programming
  • Airfield and apron planning
  • Terminal interfacing like HOS, FLB & PBB analyses
  • Airfield simulation modelling
  • OLD modelling
  • Support facility planning
  • Produce airport master planning, system planning, airfield planning, terminal planning, airspace planning, andenvironmental studies.
  • Prepare technical presentations, reports, scopes of work, budgets, and schedules for airport planning studies.
  • Develop, elaborate, and evaluate planning concept alternatives for major elements of airport infrastructure includingairfield, passenger terminal, landside access, cargo, and support areas
  • Work on several projects or issues concurrently
  • Lead the team of Junior aviation planners and ensure their productivity
  • Pro-action co-ordination with the wider Aviation team and other project team members
  • Provide necessary inputs to other team members for next level of designs
  • Assist with business development and proposal preparation
About you
  • Bachelor s Degree in aviation management, Aeronautical Science or Planning
  • Master s Degree in Airport Planning and Management / Aviation Management
  • Interpersonal Skills;
  • Problem Solving Skills;
  • Communication Skills-Oral, Written & Listening;
  • Process Orientation
  • High level of quantitative and statistical analysis skills
  • Airport Master Planning
  • Software skill to accomplish specific planning tasks through Aviplan or equivalent softwre
  • Preparation of Technical reports and presentations
  • Successfully apply ICAO/IATA/DGCA/AAI criteria and regulations to effectively communicate and collaborate with project team and clients
  • Assist with business development and proposal preparation
  • Professional certifications are a plus
