The successful candidate will join our development team to expand, support and manage the platform What Youll Do

  • Collaborating with other developers, design, product, and QA team members to establish objectives and build performant, scalable, highly available and reliable services and systems.
  • Work with the stakeholders, manage dependencies and deliver on time and with high quality, following an agile development process.
  • Translate product requirements and user stories to detailed technical specifications and advise on technical design and architecture.
  • Taking lead on projects, as needed. Ensure that the team ships high code quality by maintaining coding standards and code review practices.
  • Ensure adequate code coverage (unit test cases) and maintain appropriate technical documentation.
  • Compile and analyse data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
  • Remain current on best practices, learn new technologies/tools/programming principles or languages, and better assist other team members.
Who You Are
  • Minimum 4 years hands on experience in software development with expertise in JavaScript, NodeJS and proficiency in building, managing and maintaining the following.
  • Strong analysis (both requirements and system) and design skills.
  • RESTful Services, Micro services.
  • Queueing systems.
  • Event Sourced Systems Design.
  • MongoDB with Mongoose and Redis.
  • TDD using Mocha or any other library.
  • Performance testing and debugging performance issues.
  • Container-based development using dockers and other related technologies.
  • AWS or Azure cloud-based services, tools and applications.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in WebRTC/VoIP/Video/Augmented Reality/Computer vision technologies would be a bonus.
  • Experience in building highly scalable and high-performance systems will be a plus.
  • Familiarity with standard software development tools such as git, JIRA etc.
  • Bachelors or master s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field preferred.
