Job Description

    Responsibilities
    • Leading and managing a team of up to 6-7 people comprising of graduates and experienced professionals.
    • Monitoring work, managing and motivating the team to ensure deliverable meet necessary quality standards and agreed SLA s.
    • Being active member of audit engagement team and performing audit procedures and tests of the client that you are allocated.
    • Contacting client and onshore team regularly to update on the progress of audit engagement.
    • Identification of issues/missing information and managing & tracking the open issues until resolved.
    • Maintaining the data confidentiality and adherence to the risk management policy by the team members.
    • Review of the team s work and to provide timely feedback to team members to enable them to improve their performance.
    • Building relationships with onshore team members sitting across different locations
    • Undertaking smaller and medium-sized assignments independently or assist in larger assignments reporting to a Manager or Senior Manager
    • Establish strong professional relationships with onshore team members through weekly meetings and calls with onshore stakeholders
    • Provide regular updates on work pipeline, discussions with onshore teams to the entire team
    • Review the work performed by the subordinates and coach them
    • Provide support/assistance for proposals/business development
    • Offer technical and transaction-based accounting advisory support and research to international KPMG teams and clients, including implementation assistance with new accounting standards
    • Prepare and present accounting workpapers, document controls and audit findings.

    • Professional CA (e.g. ICAI or ACCA)
    • Candidate must have 1 to 4 years of relevant post qualification experience in a similar role, preferably with a Big 4 firm
    • In depth knowledge of external Audit for corporate and/or international clients
    • Experience in Private Equity & Hedge Fund sector will be an added advantage
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
