Senior Consultant (Tech Role)

Job Description

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience., Role:This position is primarily responsible to drive Technical/Functional solution and design and to provide expert guidance to the presales Team on Oracle Health Insurance demos. He or she has overview of the full range of features built in to our applications, as well as a deep understanding of how each individual component works. Leverage their prior knowledge in design of systems based on Java/J2EE, Health Insurance Domain knowledge and Configuration Tools (if any). Primary work is from base location, but there is a possibility of travel for client interactions. Key Objectives

• • Work as an individual or as part of a team to design solutions on Oracle Health Insurance and coordinate with our Global Presales and Product Team for providing solution fixes and resolving tech issues faced by them
  • Code and configure tech requirements/dynamic logic within the time frames for different Presales demo activities
  • Integrating OHI with other Oracle Products and 3 rd party solution for showcasing our holistic Healthcare Insurance Platform
  • Developing demo-ware for different Healthcare use cases like Interoperability, end to end solution with 3 rd parties and other Oracle Products
  • Candidate must keep themselves continuously updated with the latest in technology and domain
  • Learning and understanding the technologies used for UI development and help in building a better demo ware for different opportunities.
  • Present solution and its value proposition to the internal Presales team and at times to prospective clients
  • Ability to work at different time zones when required.
  • Serve as a focal point to communicate and resolve solution issues and provide regular status reports to your leader including raising issues that affect project schedule or quality.

Relevant Experience and Training

• • At least five (5) years of work experience in Java/C++ development. Technical capability in the areas of Java, J2EE, XML, JavaScript, SQL, HTML, Groovy & RestAPIs
  • At least two (2) years specific technical experience in Healthcare industry
  • At least six (6) years of work experience preferably in a multi-national organization
  • Experience in developing and testing of integration touchpoints.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients
  • Possess strong planning capabilities and product presentation skills
  • Strong oral and written English communication skills
  • Proven customer facing experience within professional service organizations
  • Quick learning ability
  • University degree of Engineering or a formal education in Information systems

Preferred

• • Knowledge of Oracle technologies like OJET, Oracle DB etc.
  • Knowledge on integration with products like ORMB,CX, NetSuite is preferable
  • Knowledge about python and analytics tool application will be an added advantage.
