Job Description

SeniorData Analyst role isa senior associateposition in Data Processing teamwith4yrsofexperience. This role reportsto ATL/TL and the expectations, skills required, and detailsofresponsibilities are listed below:Expectations:

  • Execute full cycle of DP tasks ofanycomplexity on his/her own with agreed quality levels
  • Take project calls withPM/ client as required and communicate theupdates/requirements/ questions in clear and concise manner
  • Follows consultative approach and suggest solutions to PM
  • Identify areas of efficiency/ improvement,technology, process or work culture, in work/team and suggest to solutions to TL
  • Be flexible and work collaboratively in team

Workflow ExecutionQuestionnaire Analyzing
  • Review questionnaire and deliverable s specifications thoroughly to understand the survey flowand the customer s requirements.Formulate suggestions and recommendations based on the observations, made.
  • Participate in meetings with PM/clients with the assistance of seniors to understand their requirements.
  • Coordinate with Survey Programming Team to understand the setup and the variables created for, when instructions are not much clear in the questionnaire or the survey setup has any tricky programming logics involved, such as rotations.
Data Validation / Cleaning:
  • Understand the survey logics / routings to force applicable rules in the data validation script at each question to ensure, data is captured in accordance with questionnaire instructions.
  • Run data validation program on latest data, periodically and send regular updates to PM s on all the projects, working.
Deliverables and Quality Checks
  • Follow deliverable specifications strictly and process the outputs accordingly.
  • Efficient to executeany type of project on one s own.
  • Ensure completion of multiple projects by established deadline and/or notifysupervisor well in advance, with alternate plans when necessary.
  • Follow deliverable specifications strictly and process the outputs accordingly. Be well versed with all the standard and custom deliverables, Formatted Tables including open-end coded data, SPSS data file as per the customer standards, customized data/report files etc.
  • Check the outputs against checklist and the deliverable specifications to ensure the processed outputs meets the customer s standards and requirements. Again, the outputs must be sent to QA team, where it goes through another round of extensive quality check, before delivering them to customer.

  • Provide clear and reasonable deliverable timelines and ensure On Time Delivery.
  • Managing and changing priorities, maintaining direction and focus through proactive planning and organized approaches to work to meet deadlines
  • Manage and Confirm required hours vs budget, monitoring hours used, addressing over-runs, and offering alternatives to minimize costs
  • Understand and ensure Data Privacy (for ex: exclude PII information from exports) across all surveys.

  • Adjusting accordingly to demonstrate sensitivity to cultural differences while maintaining highest level of abilities in all aspects of communication, written, oral, listening and expressing ideas.
  • Must have the ability to understand and respond to PM and Client requirements in time
  • Must speak/write clearly to communicate what is appropriate and right to PM and internal stake holders.

  • Proactively identify and solve project related problems to ensure accurate and timely delivery of data.
  • Maintain a log of issues and solutions and share with the team and department.

  • Understand client requirement specifications and ensure to deliver them in time.
  • Provide proactive suggestions and solutions to make the deliverables more sensible and useful for analysis to PM and Client, thereby adding more value.
