Job Description

Position Description Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with Application IT teams to support DataStage issues and changes for DataStage 11.5 applications
  • DataStage Migration Projects, Galaxy Grid Migration support
  • Monitor the health and proactively remediate issues as needed
  • Review and determine possible enhancements/upgrades to improve the stability
  • Monitor and plan Capacity of ETL complex
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience with DataStage - Version 11.x or higher version as an Administrator in a Linux environment
  • Experience installing and Configuring of DataStage
  • Experience using DB2, Teradata, and Oracle
  • Working knowledge of Datastage Grid environment
  • Good Troubleshooting knowledge
  • Good knowledge of AIX and LINUX
  • Ability to use native Unix editors
  • Ability to independently write and debug Shell/Perl scripts
  • Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally
  • Flexible to work in shifts and rotational on call as needed
  • Organized and timely
