273982BRSenior Data ScientistJob DescriptionThe role will report to the Head Global Reporting and Workforce Analytics and be part of the team that shapes the direction of advanced people analytics and help build and manage a global HR analytics service and tool providing detailed statistical analysis of human capital to identify actionable insights and build predictive models for leaders and HR community. The key responsibilities will be to conceptualize and design the Predictive analytics / AI / Machine Learning solutions for the Data sciences projects for the People Analytics Team. Mentor and guide the Data sciences teams within the People Analytics and Reporting practice to execute the Statistical projectsYour responsibilities:Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:Conducting research to understand industry and organization- Specially People specific issues, including Talent Management, Workplace Analytics, Engagement Analytics, Performance Analytics, and Attrition Analytics etc. Researching, gathering and analyzing data to determine the appropriate salary level and job title for existing and proposed positions Participates in the development of operations and procedures for the collection, editing, verification and management of statistical data. Evaluates the statistical methods and procedures used to obtain data to ensure validity, applicability, efficiency, and accuracy. Analyzes and interprets statistical data to identify significant differences in relationships among sources of information Processes large amounts of data for statistical modeling and graphic analysis, using computers. Investigates, evaluates and prepares reports on applicability, efficiency, and accuracy of statistical methods used in obtaining and evaluation data. Participates in the preparation of written and oral presentations that summarize the analysis of data, interprets the finding and provides conclusions and recommendations. Having sound experience in proposal writing as it relates to describing and summarizing project objectives, methodologies, analysis and results as well as proofing for accuracyMinimum requirementsWhat you ll bring to the role: Masters degree in Statistics from Delhi School of Economics, Indian Statistical Institute or equivalent, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, writing and presentation skills are required, including the ability to: Write concise project communications, documents and presentations with appropriate level 8 to 10 years of business- related experience is required, preferably involving working with large data sets and creating statistical models Serving as a peer reviewer and mentor of technical knowledge to effectively guide associates in complex research, data collection and analytics Working with Stakeholders on projects including program design, analysis, and implementation Responding to client- related requests, as appropriate Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to: o Determine appropriate data analytic approach and tools based on project tasks and client requirements o Gather, analyze and organize data using a logical and systematic process o Ascertain relevant and irrelevant data when conducting analytical work o Visualize and articulate problems and concepts in a systematic manner o Recognize patterns and issues in sets of data o Identify obstacles impeding project progression Ability to present ideas in a business- friendly language,
