Our client is a large multi-national engineering company with presence in several geographies. The company is looking for a talented and motivated individual for the role of DevOps Engineer.The recruited person will work with the global development, QA and the business teams to streamline application development process to allow for continuous feature release of SaaS applications.Key Responsibilities- Building and deploying applications using latest continuous delivery technologies such as Jenkins, Puppet and Maven.- Lead Deployment planning meetings and work with project teams capture any risks.- Version Control of software and configuration management- Actively participate and collaborate with various functional groups in a dynamic team.Key Skills- 5+ years of experience as a system integrator working closely with software development, quality assurance, and information technology- The hired candidate will have experience with the following technologies/platforms: Jenkins, Puppet, Subversion, GIT, Artifactory, VMWare, ServiceNow, mRemote, WinSCP, Splunk, Nagios, Confluence, Oracle Fusion, Domino- Sound understanding of software development methodologies with strong experience in continuous integration and push button deployments- Excellent exposure to policies, procedures and best practices on DevOps process in a continuous delivery environment- Should work under minimal supervision and oversight in a global distributed team.- A Strong troubleshooting skills and analytical skills- Exposure to ITIL Processes related to Incident, Change and Release Management- Should be willing to work both as an individual contributor and as a team member- Should be proactive in identifying and timely resolving critical issues- Highest level of personal integrity,
