The department is a part of Fleet Technology in Maersk Line. Fleet Technology is a specialized maritime engineering competence center in responsible for ship design and supporting the Maersk Line fleet of more than 300 container vessels. You will be part of projects with a large variation in complexity and size, from small investigations to large fleet-wide retrofit projects impacting the way the fleet is operated.Your colleagues are located in Mumbai and Copenhagen .Show More Key responsibilitiesEnsure safety is top priority within the area of responsibility.Ensure that proper and high-quality support to fleet groups & vessels to optimize operations on time and budgets within.o Power Generation o Automation Systemso Navigation and Communication Systemso Satellite Communication Systemso Onboard IOT SystemsEnsuring equipment under responsibility is maintained within budget in co-ordination with stakeholders and negotiated service contracts.Actively contribute to maintain existing data management systems and implement data driven decisions across fleet within areas of responsibilities.Actively Maintain Database of Lifecycle Status of Electrical, Automation Navigation and Communication equipment on responsible Vessels.Review of Planned Maintenance activities for Electrical, Automation Navigation and Communication equipment and develop Maintenance strategies for efficient operationLiaise with Maersk Procurement with regards to the purchase of stores and spares and, at the same time, ensuring that they are procured timely and at the right cost.Ensure timely approval of requisition/orders as well as that invoices are paid within the areas of responsibility by the due date.Monitor the quality of all service providers and providing feedback as and when requiredContinuously develop and maintain a broad and worldwide network of external specialists and co-operative partners.Ensure that proper business/economic evaluations are made for a cost-effective operation Contribute pro-actively to the continuous development of own team as well as Fleet Technology-Electrical & Automation Team.Show More We are looking forThe ideal Candidate has bachelor s degree in Electrical Engr with operational work experience in the Maritime Industry with strong competence in Marine Electrical, Automation, Navigation & Communication Systems.Minimum 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent.In Depth knowledge of maintenance of Marine Electrical, Automation, Navigation & Communication Systems.Ability to carry out in depth troubleshooting and guide vessels for effective case resolutionsKnowledge on Latest Cybersecurity standards for Maritime EquipmentProficient in use of MS Excel, BI, PowerPoint toolsSelf-Starter with a collaborative mindsetShow More,
