Job Description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

  • Design and development of complete automobile electrical & electronics systems & its subsystems like ECU`s, Sensors, Alternator, Starter, Battery, Harness, Lamps, Clusters & Switches
  • To have good knowledge in defining E&E System requirements & for individual components, deriving the E&E architecture of vehicle.
  • To have good knowledge in Harness design & knowledge on Harness design S/w will be added advantage
  • Understand the vehicle (tractor) E&E Architecture, security, safety & other vehicle body functions &
  • Perform the vehicle level analysis, diagnostics, testing, consolidate the observation and report accordingly with appropriate actions
  • Participate in the various project level reviews.
  • Effectively collaborate the various CFTs and deliver the product to the necessary vehicle platforms
  • Good understanding of Automotive Electronics, Automotive Engine Management System ECUs and interfacing circuitry
  • Knowledge of Common Rail Systems (CRS) & its associated parts (Sensors, Injectors, After Treatment (SCR) electronics systems etc) including wiring harness design.
  • Knowledge on EOL Flashing activities, EOL Test Setup, Diagnostics setup & process knowledge related to EOL Operations.
  • Working Experience on wiring Harness design & Circuitry for Common Rail systems
  • Finalization of functional, technical and quality requirements based on project & customer inputs.
  • Releasing Statement of Requirements (SOR) & Design Concept Specification (DCS) for the electrical & electronics components by covering all the functional, durability and tooling requirements.
  • Interact & initiate with internal and external teams to finalize the requirements, strategy, logics.
  • Knowledge on various countries homologation requirements is added advantage
Experience4 to 6 YearsIndustry Preferred
  • OEM s, Tractors & Construction Equipment Industry, Tier 1 suppliers.
QualificationsBE/B Tech - Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Electronics & Communication EngineeringGeneral Requirements
  • Functional knowledge on Starting system, charging system, switches, Wiring harness, Lighting system, vehicle E&E Interfacing system.
  • Expertise & Experience on wiring Harness design & Circuitry
  • Knowledge on analog and digital signal and its interface requirements
  • Should have experience one complete product development cycle on automotive/ Off road system development
  • Basic Knowledge on various automotive communication protocols like CAN, K-line, UDS, INCA, CANoe & on Functional safety, EMI/EMC,8D, SCAP
Language skills - Hindi additional advantage,
