Senior Engineer - Design & EngineeringIts core business is to develop, own and operate utility-scale solar farms in India. It is capable of managing the full life-cycle of projects using in-house expertise. It focuses on greenfield projects using Indias Open Access framework to sell power directly to large commercial and industrial consumers utilising the local grid infrastructure. Thus far it has 50MW of capacity operational and will be scaling up through acquisitions and developments over the next two years. Location : HyderabadExperience : 3 6 YearsFunction : Production/ Manufacturing/ EngineeringShould be capable to perform simulations with different PV, Inverter & Tracker technologies, Typical duties may include: Analysis and development of meteorological files and assumptions for inclusion in PVsyst and other solar energy modelling tools; Forecasting long-term solar resource using measure-correlate-predict methods and other regression models. Development of uncertainty analyses using statistical and pragmatic approaches to determine probabilistic energy production forecasts; Undertaking PV Due Diligence analysisDevelopment of annual and long-term solar energy assessments, using PVsyst and other modelling tools. Strong analytical skills and an aptitude for analysing statistical dataShould be capable to prepare Plant BoM and TL, Substation BoMShould be capable of doing string sizing, cable sizing, Transformer, HT Panel selection, UPS & Battery sizing, Lightning & Earthing sizingShould be involved in Wind plant designing and yield analysisShould be familiar with IS, IEC, NEC codesDevelopment of technical specifications and scope of work documentation for solar PV projects;Experience on Battery technologies will be an added advantageCandidate Profile: Graduation in Electrical EngineeringProficient in PVSyst, Homer, SAM, ACADD, G-sketchup, , Matlab, R, Any additional experience with designing electrical system is preferredQualification : Bachelor of Engineering/ Bachelor of Technology Working Days : 5 Days a Week ( to )Job Nature : Full Time,
