Job Description

    Job Title: Senior Manager - Finance and OperationsLocation: HyderabadReporting to: Managing Director-IndiaJob Summary:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager with expertise in Finance and Operations to oversee and lead various aspects of financial management, payroll, compliance & secretarial responsibilities, and team management The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with statutory regulations, effective team management, and fostering strong stakeholder relationships. This role demands a strategic thinker with excellent Leadership skills and a deep understanding of financial management processes.Responsibilities:Financial Management (Includes Accounting & Taxation):
    1. Accurate maintenance of books of accounts & record-keeping.
    2. Publishing reports to the management as per prescribed timelines.
    3. Managing statutory payments, returns & reports as per prescribed timelines.
    4. Managing cash flow to reduce financial risk.
    5. Facilitating audits at necessary intervals and passing audits satisfactorily.
    Payroll & Compliance:
    1. Timely and accurate processing of monthly payroll.
    2. Accurate remittance of salaries and statutory payments.
    3. Timely adherence to statutory compliances and returns.
    Secretarial:
    1. Maintaining records complying with MCA and ROC.
    2. Timely convening of Board of Directors Meetings and filing required documents.
    3. Filing annual filings and reports to the concerned statutory authorities.
    Team Management:
    1. Driving organizational goals, vision & values.
    2. Managing the team to build healthy & professional relations with all required parties.
    3. Providing learning opportunities to gain within & cross-functional experience.
    4. Timely feedback for team development.
    Stakeholder Management:
    1. Identifying key stakeholders and maintaining healthy & professional relationships.
    2. Making key stakeholders accountable, responsible & informed as appropriate.
    3. Set and manage expectations of key stakeholders to avoid possible gaps/risks.
    4. Encouraging adaptability among all stakeholders to changes within the process group or at the organizational level by ensuring the timely and accurate exchange of information.
    5. Develop and implement a standardized process for this among all stakeholders by the mid-year.
    Expense/Cost Management:
    1. Proper estimation, allocation, and controlling the operational cost of business.
    2. Forecasting future expenses and planning for appropriate execution.
    3. Focus on optimizing/reducing operational costs wherever possible.
    Commercial Negotiations:
    1. Managing periodic/recurring costs, gauging the cost-benefit analysis.
    2. Obtaining additional services with no additional cost.
    Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
    • MBA Finance.
    • Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, or equivalent (could be an advantage)
    • Proven experience in a senior finance role, with a minimum of 10 years in a managerial capacity.
    • Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and taxation.
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to adapt to change and manage risk effectively.
    • Experience in stakeholder management and negotiations.
    • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and secretarial responsibilities.
