Job Description

The role will support the business using data to consult with leaders to grow, develop, and coach talent to support Ryan growth. The ideal candidate with have analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with strong people skills.   • Uses data to identify talent and skill needs, measure success of solutions, and quantify business outcomes.
  • Serves as a performance coach by providing feedback based on various data points and guidance for improved performance on the job.
  • Responds to learning and development related questions from employees and guides them to applicable training or resource solutions.
  • Facilitates learning activities utilizing the most effective training delivery including Instructor-led training, recorded training, live web-based training, videoconferencing, etc., and adapting their delivery style to drive audience engagement.
  • Evaluates and improves people technology and reporting with input from IT, The People Group, and key stakeholders.
Client:
  • Develops and maintains trusted client relationships and participates in strategic consultation sessions to assess talent gaps and recommend and execute solutions in the areas of learning and development, leadership development, assessments, and employee engagement.
  • Provides a range of consultation services to executive leaders and senior management on the development and implementation of key strategies and training for creating and sustaining a high performing organization (Team building sessions, Succession planning, Calibration sessions).
  • Creates and implements training and development programs that support the organization s growth, leadership development and successor readiness.
Value:
  • Ensures people processes are designed to effectively measure performance and team member engagement to support the development of a practice specific score card that leads to continuous improvement of organizational performance.
  • Designs custom training modules and learning solutions to meet business needs that are aligned to the competencies, skill development, and the strategic direction of the Firm.
  • Serves as the program owner for courses or programs, as assigned, including designing, piloting, scheduling, promoting, reviewing, revising, and evaluating training programs.
  • Researches, evaluates, and recommends emerging and current trends in learning and technology for application to support Ryan s key results.
  • Monitors and reports the effectiveness of training programs through audits of specific courses and curriculum. Tracks and reports relevant metrics to demonstrate results and return on investment.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor s degree from a four-year college or university in relevant field required.
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant learning and development experience required, preferably in a professional services environment.
Computer Skills:To perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research. Experience delivering training via online meeting technology preferred. Experience with eLearning authoring tools a plus.Certificates and Licenses:Valid driver s license required.Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.Work Environment:
  • Standard indoor working environment.
  • Occasional long periods of sitting while working at computer.
  • Occasional requirements to work in early morning or late in the evening to support programs for the global audience.
  • Occasional long periods of standing while coordinating or facilitating training.
  • Position requires regular interaction with employees and vendors via email, telephone, in-person meetings, group training sessions, video conferencing, and live online Web-based meeting applications.
  • Independent travel requirement: less than 10%.
