Job Description

Assess and cultivate long-term strategic goals for BI development in conjunction with end us

Skills Required:

University degree (Engineering / MCA) Minimum 10+ years of combined experience in data warehousing/business intelligence/analyt

ics and reporting systems. Hands on management of reporting infrastructure

Strong ability to analyze user requirements, make recommendations and implement

solutions. Experience in configuring and administering in SAP/BO BI 4.1+.

Core understanding of Business Objects architecture, security framework and content man

agement.

Experience in migrating content between various BI environments Self driven and should be able to troubleshoot and provide quick resolutions to server relat

ed issues. Solid understanding and hands-on experience of Business Objects Applications (Universe

Designer, IDT, WebI, Infoview, Crystal Reports, Dashboards) is a must. Strong working knowledge of relational database structure, theories, principles and practice

es (Sybase; DB2; SQL Server). Very well versed with PL/SQL Stored Procedures, Triggers,

Complex Queries, Sub Queries etc.

Experience in Data Modeling and Data Warehouse designs.

Full project management and development life cycle experience.

Strong oral and written communication skills Strong presentation and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize and execute in high-pressured environment

Experience working with Business Managers, Architects, End users and all the stake holders

in documenting requirements, providing estimates, creating High and Detail Level design

specifications.

Skills Desired:

Business Objects certification Experience with MS Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems

Knowledge of Agile, Scrum and Kanban methodology is a plus. Experience with ETL tools like IBM DataStage, Informatica Power Center, etc. is a plus/

Financial Industry experience is preferred.
