Our industry focus includes aerospace and defence, healthcare, telecommunications, rail transportation, semiconductor, geospatial, industrial, and energy.Job DescriptionPrimary objective As Structural Engineer you will undertake specific design tasks relating to offshore structural engineering analysis and design Specific AccountabilitiesStructural design integrity of work scope and maintenance of standards.Establish existing asset technical integrity program.Run structural analysis for New platform/ platform modification.Minor modifications designCheck compliance with Alliance QA/safety/environment goals.Manage structural engineering design and any design changes within budget and schedule.Promote cost reduction and productivity enhancing initiatives.Technical supervision of project designated structural designers and draftsmen in the execution of their duties.Benchmark structural design/drafting to identify areas of improvements.Quality Assurance Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the Project.Safety Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the Project. Understand and follow OH&S procedures. Essential Skills/Experience Applicants require experience in working in a structural engineering team within a large multi discipline project team.The role mandates previous experience in minimum facility platform design and including the substructure, topsides and bridges.A comprehensive understanding of structural analysis in the areas of dynamic loading and resistance, collapse analysis, spectral fatigue analysis, fire and explosion design, reliability based analysis, dropped object etc. is essential.Conversant with API, DNV, AISC, BS codesA minimum of 2 years of SACS suite of software experience is essential Matching IndicatorsA Bachelor of Engineering (Civil/Structural)5 years experience, 3 of which has been in conceptual studies, FEED and detailed design of substructure, deck and bridges.4 years offshore Oil and Gas Industry experienceSkills & Experience Ansys, Fatigue Analysis, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Offshore Platforms, Offshore Projects, Offshore Structures, Oil & Gas, Pre-Feed, Staad Pro, Structural Analysis, Structural Design Cyient is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Cyient recruits, employs, trains, compensates, and promotes regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender, gender identity or expression, veteran status, and other protected status as required by applicable law.
