The candidate would be a part of Global Network Operations Center (GNOC) for Schneider Electric business. As part of Global Service Operations, this also involves working with geographically diverse locations and hence candidate should possess good communication and have worked in similar environment. This role is essential in keeping minimal downtime to various business functionalities like manufacturing plants, sales offices, R&D centre etc. Should be able to handle incidents, lead changes and involve in project rollouts as well as be available 24x7 for any critical outages. This position reports to APAC Network Operations Manager.ResponsibilitiesWould be part of APAC GNOC supporting various technologies, providing 2nd level incident fixing and participating in service requests, changes requests & projects.Adhere to the processes and standards followed by GNOC teams and the overall organisation.Identify potential risks in the environment and drive improvement plans.Provide off business hour support for critical issues.Collaborate with our vendors/partnersAdministrate and guarantee operations of data networks (Cisco switches, Cisco Access Points.)Offer responsive actions against problems and proactive actions to guarantee that LAN & Wifi infrastructure are dimensioned according to Business requirementsConfigure and administrate LAN & Wifi infrastructureInstall, maintain and upgrade LAN & Wifi infrastructure according the standards of the CompanyAnalyse the network health of the countries and propose the appropriate technology/solution from the service catalog in order to meet the Business expectationHandle any kind of LAN & Wifi ticket customer concern respecting the compromised SLA from the service catalogReport on time following Service Line indicationsEnsure that the standards are applied consistently throughout all implementationsManage new installations and proactive administration of LAN & Wifi installationsManage and improve projects, periodic supervision, etcRedundancy/backup of LAN infrastructure according to Business requirements following the standards of the CompanyWork on the integration of new acquisition companies understanding Business requirements taking into account the standards and Security topicsHandle office moving according to Business requestWork with Architecture team to provide solution/architecture to meet the business requirement/objectivesKeep documentation and procedures updated to be followed by GNOC & Service Delivery teamsHandle new installations and proactive administration of WAN DevicesImprove projects, periodic supervision, etcRedundancy/backup of WAN links infrastructureKeep documentation and monitoring updatedAbility to configure Cisco routersUnderstanding of the routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, HSRP)Worked on Cloud Proxy Devices like the ZscalerManage new installations of Checkpoint, Palo Alto FirewallsTroubleshoot firewalls issuesRedundancy/backup of Firewall infrastructureKeep documentation and monitoring updatedQualifications we seek in you!Minimum qualifications
