Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring stability and performance of the products are best in class. This includes accountability for performance, availability management and capacity planning

  • Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards and programming
  • Improve operations by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes in policies and procedures
  • Update job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
  • Protect operations by keeping information confidential
  • Provide information by collecting, analyzing and summarizing development and service issues
  • Accomplish engineering and organization mission by completing related results as needed
  • Support and develop software engineers by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunities
  • -Must be a strong technical decision maker
  • -Responsible for solving highly technical and complex problems for several programs and projects
  • -Leads the implementation of rigorous engineering excellence process and platform improvement initiatives.-Passionate about the customer experience, and ensure every visit is a great experience
Essential Requirements
  • 12+ years of relevant work experience leading engineering teams and most of this focused eCommerce Software Development including testing, designing, and developing complex enterprise applications
  • Practice in Agile Scrum methodology
  • Good communication skills, including the ability to convey technical information effectively to both IT and business audiences
  • Experience leading small and large organizations
  • eCommerce specific industry knowledge and experience in software engineering
  • Strong organizational planning and development, business judgment, technical leadership, and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of the sales and the sales processes
  • Expertise in most of the following Web API (MS ASP.Net), MVC, WCF, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, SOAP, REST, JQuery, .Net Framework, C#, Web Services
  • Experience coding, testing and documenting Drupal themes including all front end functionality and templates and modules using contributed modules and developing custom modules as needed
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Experience building complex web systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
  • Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project
  • Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams and management to collect requirements, identify tasks, provide estimates and meet production deadlines
  • Practical knowledge of object oriented programming
  • Ability to work across multiple simultaneous product development efforts and programs
  • An analytical mind that thrives in a data-driven environment
  • Bachelors/MS degree in mathematics, computer science, or related discipline preferred
