70 tactical buyers are supporting both commercial and NTO towers out of Prague NGSC, covering region Europe, Switzerland, Middle East and North Africa. ROLE PURPOSEEnsure that global end-to-end Next Generation Procurement transformation will be effectively implemented and meet objectives through NPLT, ELT and associates commitment and engagement. Ensure delivery of measurable value for Novartis, through proper project management related to the transformation of Procurement s function. Your responsibilities:Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Manage end-to-end Procurement transformation & strategy- Ensure global end-to-end Procurement transformations are effectively implemented and objectives are met through NPLT, ELT and associates commitment and engagement.- Lead global transformation activities within different work streams.- Support creation and execution of Procurement strategy.- Track transformation progress and report back to leadership teams where required. Ensure strong project management & governance- Ensure delivery of measurable value for Novartis, through proper project management related to the transformation of Procurement s function.- Assess, guide and support Procurement extended leadership team in their effort to implement the new operating model leading to the adoption of new ways of working consistent with Procurement transformation and Novartis overall Procurement objectives.- Ensure successful project reviews and best practice sharing.- Lead specific training activities resulting from new processes, standards and ways of working. Manage and Lead Business Analyst groupMinimum requirements What you ll bring to the role:EDUCATION: Master s Degree/other advanced degree in Business, Finance, Economics or similar is required. Additional qualifications (CIPS, Project Management, etc.) or similar professional qualifications preferred.EXPERIENCE: 15-20 years of relevant business experience. Preferably >10 years of experience in Procurement or other related experience within the Healthcare/Pharmaceutical industry, preferably in category management, supplier management, or related area, with a focus on the strategy and transformation. Significant experience in working in cross-cultural/functional environments internationally across multiple geographies. Able to navigate with diverse stakeholders in a matrix organization and across geographies and cultures. Strong project management and communication skills.
