Job Description

SSC EZE is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join the Product Management team based out of Hyderabad, India office within the Research and Development (RD) group. This is an excellent opportunity for a knowledgeable and driven candidate to shape product strategy and execute on the resulting roadmap. It requires a self-starter capable of becoming thoroughly versed in the current initiatives and system capabilities.

The candidate is expected to be a highly-motivated individual who will play a key role in driving and executing product roadmap for our customers. The candidate is expected to be a self-starter with curiosity to learn, having a customer-centric mentality with superb analytical skills and persistence in problem solving. The position requires leadership capabilities, critical thinking, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of trading workflows. Must be well organized and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to be able to effectively communicate with all audiences. The candidate should be comfortable managing releases from start to finish with minimal supervision. Last but not the least, a high level of integrity is expected and sensitivity to confidential information.

Job Functions

This Senior Product Manager will join our team and help to drive the execution of our investment management portfolio roadmap.

• Can serve as Product Owner and leader of an Agile Scrum team.

• Defines target market for product offering and assesses opportunities. Clearly understands the primary market that their product serves and the value that it delivers. Listens to the market and evaluates market trends.

• Evaluates the competitive landscape and can pinpoint, monetize, and emphasize distinctive competencies. Ensures product meets expected standards in terms of operability and market/user acceptance.

• Performs client visits and user interviews to gather market evidence and validate requirements.

• Decomposes Market Problems into user stories and Requirements. Manages backlog priorities on their own with little direction given in terms of alignment of objectives to program goals.

• Proposes product pricing and tracks and monitors product profitability.

Qualifications/Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Product Management in the financial technology industry

• 3-5 years of experience in Financial Services or Investment Technology industry: Buy-side (OMS, EMS, IMS, ECN) deployment and development; or Sell-Side vendor integration desirable.

• Experience building and deploying cloud based products is preferable.

• Knowledge of a broad range of financial asset classes, trading workflows, and the trade lifecycle.

• Product Owner certificate and Pragmatic Marketing training desirable.

• MBA from respected college/university with strong academic record is desirable.
