Senior Product Manager Sports BackendPurpose of Role:As Senior Product Manager in the Entain Sports/Trading and backend team you will lead some of the key complex product strategies to ensure our Backend platform features meet and further still exceeded our stakeholder expectations. You will define, communicate, and launch state of the art trading and sports betting products on our proprietary trading platform as well as further enhancing the platform itself. You will lead Product Managers and in order to do so, any successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of the industry and other betting products and a clarity on what betting customers want. Your industry knowledge, coupled with a knack of extracting value from data will ultimately lead to design of features to deliver a return on investment.To succeed in this role, you should be a perceptive and creative leader and a reliable problem-solver. Your confidence and knack for knowing what ideas will and won t work, will be an essential ingredient to successKey Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the creation of a best in market sports experience
• Report to Head of Trading Platform
• Lead and mentor Product Managers
• Partner with senior management to define the product vision, strategy, roadmap and supporting metrics required to deliver and enhance a best in class sports experience
• You ll define complex concepts for new sports betting features, enhancements and functionalities based on our product strategy.

• You ll work in an agile software development environment (SCRUM) remotely
• Take ownership of the coordination with Project, Delivery, Trading and Marketing functions
• You ll be continuously responsible for business architecture, product operation, business performance and evolution
• Ability to use personal insight, analytics, customer viewing trends and habits to ensure continuous improvement of the product
• A focus on key customer metrics and associated conversion/retention rates.
• A/B test improvements to drive future enhancements.
• Ability to ensure requirements are prioritised correctly and delivered
• Interviewing skills - to talk with individuals and groups about their needs and ask the right questions to surface essential requirements information
• By collaborating closely with business operation units (e.g. Traders, Operations, Marketing etc) you drive the product into new spheres
• Involvement in B2B activities, post-merger integrations as well as negotiations with 3rd party vendors

• Develop and maintain excellent awareness of competitor activity and regulatory constraints within the marketplace to inform the business and guide and shape the Backend product backlog / roadmap

Develop and maintain open channels with both internal stake holders and external 3rd parties, to ensure features / request are captured, prioritised, and communicated accordingly.Ability to present ideas, and recommendations clearly in verbal, written and presentation formats.Proven ability to work effectively with international, cross-functional teams and to internalise new processes and developments in a highly dynamic industry.Ability to work in a results orientated environment with an often changing but exciting landscapeKey Competencies and Experience:An Ideal candidate will have:

• 5+ years experience in a Product / Product Management based role within a technology driven environment within a Sportsbook

• Understanding of eGaming and experience in the gaming industry
• Possess mature commercial instincts
• In depth knowledge of a wide range of sports to ensure all aspects of sports specific development are captured during the inception phase
• Experience in driving complex projects from inception through to delivery with SCRUM teams across International locations
• Strong leadership and excels at driving change

Works in a collaborative way with technical and data driven teams, ensuring capability of digesting information and cascading salient informationUnderstands the long-term outlook of the sector and can be agile in changing objectives aligned with strategic changeMust be highly organised and possess a structured approach to their workExcellent communication skills (English) in both written and verbal format
