Job Description

Position Description Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement tests, debug and define corrective actions
  • Review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts)
  • Lead the junior department in producing test documents, leading testing procedures and ensure the successful deployment of software/product solutions, leading to consumer satisfaction and the subsequent success of the business
Required Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ or more years of previous experience with software quality assurance and/or software testing
  • Previous experience in creating and/or executing test plans, test cases or test scripts
  • Automation testing experience; with the ability to design, develop and implement automated tests in an ATDD (Acceptance Test Driven Development) setting and Agile methodologies
  • Knowledge or experience with the System Development Life Cycle and software testing practices
  • Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL
  • Expertise in Java, Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin and Jenkins
  • Expertise in Database testing and automated testing
  • Ability to deliver test automation solutions in accordance with enterprise standards and within development and operational guidelines
  • Ability to write and execute automated tests using Selenium/Java, Cucumber, Eclipse, GIT, ATDD, Appium, SauceLabs, Perfecto
  • Ability to execute or deliver in Sprint & Regression Automation
  • Ability to customize/upgrade automation framework as per project or application requirement
