This job, based in Berlin, Germany, entails working directly withengineering teams across Europe and collaborating with a US-based Product and CustomerSuccess team.Ready to join our team Heres what we are looking forResponsibilitiesLead the quality mindset within the team, sharing your knowledge of testing andestablishing self-sufficient quality processes. Consistently motivating the team toimprove and test togetherEstablish and provide transparent metrics, via application monitoring, which will helpthe team to understand the current quality and health of their applications andfeaturesContinuously improve the testing strategy for manual and automated testing byproviding comprehensive testing solutions, finding creative ways to test, break,debug featuresParticipate in problem-solving, solution design, and planning sessions for allinitiatives and experiments. Questioning unclear requirements to help eliminateambiguities and mismatches in early user stories and acceptance criteriaAdvocate customer interest, contribute to product feedback, and help resolveproduction issues, through collaboration with the customer success teamKey SkillsSeveral years of experience working in a Quality Engineering or Test Automationfocused role. Working with mainstream testing frameworks (i.e. Cypress, Jest orRspec)Experience coding outside of Automation with either Javascript or Ruby.Quality is a collective effort for you rather than just one persons responsibility. Youleverage collaboration techniques (i.e. pair programming and teamwork) to forge thismindset in othersExperienced in leveraging design patterns like Page Object Model (POM) to reducecode duplication and improve test maintenanceProven ability to collaborate, communicate asynchronously, and work well within thewider organizationAbility to actively give and receive feedback to build trust, transparency, and elevateyour peersHave an enthusiastic, go-for-it attitude.
