Job Description

Your Role and Responsibilities As a Senior service Associate-Expense and reimbursement, you are responsible for end-to-end Travel and Expense Accounting service to CLIENT employees for the countries within the country team.

  • To ensure compliance to TEA processes that is in place for countries under area of responsibility in order to guarantee the success of critical and key SLAs. You will be responsible for highlighting to the 1st Line Operations Manager any issues/ missing processes that may impact end to end service delivery as soon as they are identified.
  • To liaise with key customers, partners and third parties, including Corporate Card Providers, Travel Agencies, and the like, to ensure the delivery of day to day TEA work.
  • Takes task direction from the Operations Manager and should be certain they are aware of their specific role and responsibilities.
  • To develop an in depth understanding of the CLIENT travel policy, legal and tax requirements, and country-specific processes.
Key Responsibilities of Process Delivery
  • Contribute to the achievement of TEA Critical SLAs for expense report management and BSR for countries owned
  • Ensuring report processing meet local policy, tax and legal requirements
  • Maintenance, continuous review and improvement of work processes owned
  • Demonstrated solid understanding of the corporate card and travel and expense accounting process
  • Attend any necessary client facing, internal and external meetings or training if necessary
  • Dealing with email and helpline queries relating to accounting and general TEA processes.
  • Dealing with queries from other IBM team members.
  • Responding to requests and partner concerns from the customer, third parties and internal colleagues relating to expenses, in a timely and professional manner.
  • Supporting any TEA projects/ initiatives as required
  • Providing training for the team.
  • Provide excellent Customer Service to CLIENT travellers managing key communication and query handling

  • Minimum 1 Year of experience in Compensation and benefits.
  • Ability to think through complex issues and situations and develop robust, well-thought-out solutions which meet the need of the business
  • Ability to trouble-shoot and implement changes in his/her processes; ability to identify major areas of concern with regard to compliance to travel policy as well as recommend measures to address identified exceptions; ability to analyse and present travel spending data in a way that will provide optimum benefits to the business
