• You will serve as a senior software engineer in the CRHF R&D Software Organization and will operate in all phases and contribute to all activities of the software development process such as requirements analysis, design, development and verification, specializing in Big Data & MLOps systems and application platforms enabling CRHF SW product roadmap.
• You will be responsible for undertaking business specific and research projects, with the goal of transforming healthcare.
• You will work in collaboration with Data Science & Data Engineering teams to develop an MLOps framework to facilitate model serving
• You will contribute towards ensuring that the product is developed as per requirements of design control and good software engineering practices
• You will be responsible for supporting product release activities; participate in product installation & post install support

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop an MLOps framework to assist the data science team with serving models
• Learn and understand software standards for Medical devices, ex. IEC62304.
• Apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts to solve complex technical problems.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives for the software team.
• Demonstrate ownership of software feature/module and drive development of the feature/module through SDLC.
• Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, mentoring, and software engineering best practices to junior software engineers.
• Develop reusable patterns and encourage innovation that will increase team velocity.
• Maintain, improve and design new software tools.
• Work under general direction and collaboratively with internal and external partners.

Minimum Qualification:

• Required: Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Computer Sciences, Bio-Technology, Bio-Medical, Electronics or Electrical Engineering from a premium institute.
• Preferred: - Maters in Engineering or Masters in Technology Computer Sciences, Bio-Technology, Bio-Medical, Electronics or Electrical Engineering from a premium institute.

Required Experience:

• 8+ years of Software industry experience.

Required Skills/Competencies:

• 8+ years of software product development experience, and hands on technical work with full life cycle implementations in Big Data tech stack.
• Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies like Kafka, Elastic, and Hortonworks
• Programming expertise in Python with strong hold on microservice architecture
• 3+ years of experience with REST APIs (Swagger is a bonus)
• Strong experience with container technologies: Kubernetes, Docker
• Strong experience with NOSQL databases (HBase preferred)
• Experience with version control systems with Git such as BitBucket or Azure DevOps
• 3+ years of experience using Agile methodology

Preffered Skills/Competencies:

• TensorFlow, TFX, pytorch, mlflow, AWS SageMaker and related technologies
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, DataDog, etc.
• Working knowledge of securing cloud apps- use of AWS security controls (KMS, guard duty, API GW, etc) may include threat modeling, general vulnerability management within consumed 3rd party components, static code analysis experience, Stretch (previous pen testing experience), use of and familiarity with OpenIDConnect/OAuth2
• Expert understanding of enterprise-class system concepts (Deployment, Performance, Scalability, Availability, and Security)
• Ability to review and create technical design documentation
• Ability to consistently perform well during times of increased work load
• Ability to work on cross-functional project teams comprised of software verification and development engineers, system engineers, human factor engineers and quality engineers.
• Design/test experience working within a regulated environment.
• Working Knowledge of DRM, Six-Sigma principles
• Medical Devices experience
