Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Strong in .NET, C#, WCF, ADO.NET
  • Strong in Win Forms Application Development
  • Strong in SQL queries building, Stored Procedures, Views
  • Asynchronous Programming, Multithreading
  • LINQ
  • C# Programming in MS Excel, XML
  • Serialization
  • WCF: bindings, MSMQ, security, transport protocols
  • Design Principles, Design Patterns
  • Good and optimized coding, code review using tools like FxCop and Style cop
  • Author and Review functional, design documents
  • Project models: Good understanding of Agile practices
  • Estimation techniques: Story point, Function Point, Use case Point
  • Requirements Gathering
  • Good soft-skills such as problem solving, good communication, interpersonal and team management skills
  • Knowledge of product development cycle
  • Design of Distributed architectures.
Skill/Experience Requirements Non-Technical:
  • Fluent in English read/write/speak
  • Ability and flexibility to travel
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, Project
Technical:
  • 8 10 years of overall software development experience
  • Able to handle project documentation, requirements, software design
  • .NET, C#, WCF, ADO.NET programming
  • VB and scripting language experience
  • SQL and relational database experience
  • C# Programming using VISIO, MS-Access
  • SQL: Triggers, Indexes, Functions
  • Syncfusion controls
  • Packaging tools: WIX
  • Configuration management (CM Synergy and Change Synergy), TFS
  • WPF
Nice To Have:
  • Experience with Foxboro DCS, InTouch and/or industrial control systems; PLCs, HMIs
  • Configuration, programming, testing, and/or configuration of PLC and DCS
  • Performing Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and/or Software Acceptance Testing (SAT)
  • Exposure to Instrumentation and Control (Industrial Automation Domain).
  • Records the findings and statistics of own area of work and reports completion of task via project schedule, time sheets and status reports
  • Ability to look at big picture and address end user pain areas
