This also includes evaluating new tools, new techniques, strategies; Automation of common tasks; build of common utilities to drive organizational efficiency with a passion around technology and solutions and influence of thought and leadership on future capabilities and opportunities to apply technology in new and innovative ways.Primary Responsibilities:Analyze and investigateProvide explanations and interpretations within area of expertiseSupport presales engineeringDefine and drive improvements in the overall quality including automation, code coverage and inspection processesRequired Qualifications:Bachelor or Master s degree in Computer Science/Electronics/Electrical or equivalentAround 5-10 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing and delivering commercial application softwareStrong experience developing web applications on the Java platform (Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Web Services)Experience with Micro servicesExperience with front-end techniques like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery, AngularJS, Node.jsExperience in providing technical guidance and inculcating engineering best practices within development teamsExperience with Cloud based technologies such as Docker, Mesos, Kubernets, AWS, Openshift or similar container technologiesExperience with DevOps Tools like Jenkins/XL DeployExperience with Linux or UNIX platformExperience creating version management strategy and working knowledge of version control systems like Git/GitHub/SVNExperience in conducting design and code reviewsExperience working in teams following Agile development methodologies (Iterative, Scrum, SAFe, Kanban)Exposure to complete software product lifecycle encompassing requirements analysis, prototyping, architecture, design, development, testing and deploymentStrong knowledge of RDBMS and experience working with SQL Server/Oracle and No SQLSound knowledge and experience of unit testing methodologies and frameworks (e.g. MOQ)Proficiency in applying object-oriented principles and recommended design patterns to create robust and scalable system designsWeb servers like Apache Tomcat, Websphere Application Server, JBossAbility to independently troubleshoot problems and zero in on the likely root causesFundamental knowledge of algorithms and data structuresSound understanding of basic operating system and networking conceptsAbility to do POC on emerging tech stackAbility to contribute towards research and innovation on emerging tech stackExcellent communication skillsAssertive leadership qualitiesExcellent team player and collaboratorOwnership and accountability for the assigned tasksProactive in identifying and escalating potential risks and impediments and coming up with alternative solutionsPreferred Qualifications:Java CertificationKnowledge of application monitoring tools Splunk, DynatraceContribution to Open Source projects,
