Job Description

Individual will be responsible for doing Batch Monitoring production Support for applications in the Banking Domain environment. The support activities involve monitoring, incident and problem management.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and support applications for 100% SLA meets
  • Prepare andor review Impact Analysis, LLD based on requirements specifications and other documents
  • Triage, Develop & Unit Testing; Participate in SITUAT testing
  • Communicate to technology partner
  • Drive abend calls and capable of clear and concise communication with business and other non-technical people
  • Provide fixes, enhancements as per the requirements
  • Ensure processes are followed at all stages; Work independently; Require less oversightassistance
  • Provide support after office hours, weekends and stay on call when business needs
  • Mentor teams and if need be deep dive reviews with support team
  • Participate or conduct conference calls with tech and business users

Requirements

Education: B.E. B. Tech M.E. M. Tech B.Sc. M.Sc. BCA MCA (prefer ITCS specialization)

Certifications, If Any: Not Mandatory

Experience Range: 2 - 4 years

Mandatory skills:

  • Experience working on administration with Mainframe, CICS
  • Programming knowledge of Mainframe Hands on experience in Database Oracle DB2
  • Experience working on UNIX Linux Shell scripting, XML parsing, Configuration Management
  • Knowledge on Production support and Datastage
