Job Description

  • In this Senior Software Engineer - .NET with SSIS & SSRS role, you will be responsible for the development, communication and implementation of the project s technology, including the components required to support it and in the integration of corporate and business architecture and applications.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Work on enhancements and projects in Agile environment
  • Analyze and fix the production issues (Defects resolution) following the complete SDLC processes
  • Production support for Incidents (Analysis and restoration), batch monitoring and processing, proactive heath checks and reports on production environment
  • Work on enhancements and User stories in Agile environment
  • Work with all levels of development from analysis through implementation and support
  • Resolve end user technical/functional issues individually
  • Collaborate with IT, Infrastructure and stake holders whenever is required and bring problems to closure
  • Provide 24/7 support based on support Schedule
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
  • B.Tech / MCA / Msc / MTech (Minimum 16 years of formal education, Correspondence courses are not relevant)
  • 5-7 years of experience in SQL Server, Stored procedures, performance tuning, SSIS package and SSRS development
  • Strong experience in writing stored procedures, database schema, performance tuning, impact analysis
  • Problem solving, analytical and communication abilities
  • Willing to work in multiple shifts
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with asp .net and C#.NET, PowerShell Script, DevOps tools like Jenkins, GitHub, XL deploy
  • Knowledge on Job scheduling tools like TWS(Tivoli workload scheduler) , Jenkins, SVN, Codehub, etc.
  • Production support experience
  • ITSM framework, application like Service Now etc (Ticket tracking tool)
  • Knowledge on DevOps (Jenkins, Github, XL Deploy, etc.) and Monitoring Tools (HPSM, Tableau).
  • Knowledge on Agile methodology
