Job Description

Position Description Primary Responsibilities:

  • Translate the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs. Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
  • Work closely with our web development and software design teams to update the website and internal web tools to make them more efficient
  • Create innovative solutions to web design issues to help make the website more visually appealing and enhance usability
  • Work with DevOps engineer to implement CI/CD for frontend apps
  • Implement front-end development best practices
  • Focus on rendering performance in order to ensure superior experience for a heavy interaction platform
  • Write and review testable, scalable JavaScript code that supports and enhances single page data visualizations
  • Build modular, reusable components and features. Integrate third party systems via APIs
  • Full life cycle development including design, implementation, testing and maintenance of simple to highly complex computer programs and subsystems
  • Conduct detailed analysis of system interactions to determine technical solutions and resolve problems which are cost effective and consistent with user needs, system capacities and capabilities
Required Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • Front-end Web Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming
  • Excellent experience with HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript/JavaScript
  • Excellent experience working with Webpack, NPM, Node.js, Babel, ES6
  • Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, network analytics tools
  • Knowledge and experience on Public Cloud AWS/Azure
  • Expert skills with frontend build tools such as Gulp, Grunt, WebPack, Broccoli
  • Adequate knowledge of relational database systems and Object-Oriented Programming
  • Solid understanding of at least one modern JavaScript framework (React, Angular etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to view both detail and big picture
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and/past experience on Public Cloud AWS/Azure
  • Familiarity with backend programming languages such as Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, Microservices, API Gateway
