These products are used by thousands of Asset Managers, Investment Bankers and Corporate clients around the world every day to assist with investment decisions, market monitoring, company and economic analysis and sharing of buy/sell decisions and the presentation of results. Research Engineering s product space represents a high growth opportunity for FactSet s workstation count.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.Proactively suggest improvements to applications and processes that enhance the client experience or improve performanceEnsure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.Work with Product Development team to understand project requirements and work with other Engineers on the technical design of those solutionsCollaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architectureProvide periodic project status updates to team lead/remote managerServe as an expert on applications and provide technical supportMentor less experienced engineers in the teamJOB REQUIREMENTS 4-6 years of industry experienceProfessional Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript is requiredExperience with JavaScript-based MVC frameworks, especially AngularJS /VueJs/ similar framework is requiredKnowledge of RESTful services, especially NodeJS is requiredExperience in TypeScript , Git , Graphql and unit tests is desirableExperience in C++ / Java / C# languages is desirableProficiency with Object Oriented design principles and working knowledge of Linux OSAbility to articulate and quickly adopt development best practicesExcellent organizational and communication skillsWillingness to work as a member of a team, including participating in peer code reviews and maintaining project and operational documentationAbility to work as part of a geographically diverse teamAbility to communicate with both technical and non-technical peopleB.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent,
