Job Description

Position Description Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead multiple scrum teams as delivery lead in CDSM program and own end to end implementation of solutions proposed by Architect within schedule, budget and quality
  • Provide estimation for new projects
  • Establish and control code quality standards, development best practices, defect-free code delivery for the teams
  • Review technical specifications and design documents
  • Stakeholder management and communication
  • Propose and drive automation to reduce efforts of development
  • Portfolio management - Hiring, Performance and compensation management of his span, Employee retention

  • Use complex data to support business decisions and demonstrate collaborative, creative and conceptual thinking
  • Manage a team of Developers/QAs/Data Analysts in addition to provide technical solutions in Big Data projects
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 11 years systems development and implementation experience on projects
  • Technical Manager with experience in implementation of medium to large Java/J2EE applications
  • Strong technical and platform knowledge, including some or all Java Core, J2EE, and Big Data Hadoop related technologies - HIVE, SPARK, HBASE
  • Good understanding of development processes and tools - Sonar, Jenkins, Codehub
  • Thorough understanding of fundamental software engineering and computer science principles: object-oriented design, structured design, databases, algorithms, data structures, usability, debugging, and configuration management
  • Ability to solve technical and strategic challenges using innovative approaches
