Job Description

"Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and maintenance of Optum, part of the UnitedHealth Group family of businesses, contact center infrastructure and applications with an emphasis on Kana Knowledge Management, Chat, and Email applications and well as Nice Inc.
  • Performance Management Tools including incident and problem management, planning and execution of maintenance activities, and assisting in project related activities
  • Incident Management:
- Provide 24/7 or after hours support for the Contact Center Application Support Team (Kana and Nice applications)- Assist in troubleshooting efforts when incidents occur- Coordinate with other Optum support teams for restoration or problem management activities- Manage and execute activities related to remediation plans
  • Change Management:
- Plan and track maintenance activities for the Contact Center infrastructure- Conduct maintenance activities to include, installs, upgrades, patches, etc.- Develop, publish and execute appropriate test plans related to scheduled maintenance- Perform publishes of new content nightly for the Kana Knowledge Management application and work on IEX, NPM and MyMetrics
  • Infrastructure Build:
- Assist engineers in design and planning of infrastructure additions or enhancements- Coordinate and assist vendor with infrastructure builds or application changesRequired Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience with application or infrastructure support
  • 3+ years of experience with Java/J2EE, WebSphere Administration
  • 3+ years of experience with MS SQL and T-SQL
  • 2+ years of experience with Unix Platform or Windows Server 2008
  • 4 years of relevant application support experience with knowledge on below processes
  • Vendor management experience
  • Customer service skills - frequent conversations with the vendor teams
  • Ability to communicate and interact with appropriate areas on problems, changes and incidents that may impact application stability
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Contact Center technologies
  • Proven ability to learn quickly
