Job Responsibilities:
We are looking for a dynamic, energetic Senior Technical Program Manager with experience in FPGA (or ASIC) development and management. The position is in an industry-leading, world-class Software and AIML development organization that is engaged in high performance and ease of use solutions using cutting-edge programming technology. Expectations on this role include but not limited to resolution of cross-disciplinary issues on major programs, strong support to validation and characterization work and managing overall tool deliverables with direct hands-on involvement. The PM leader is expected to make decisions with data and provide regular reporting of key performance indicators. Leadership both within the multiple HW-SW teams as well as cross-functional organizations within Xilinx in a multi-geo setting will be a natural expectation. A customer centricity mindset is key for this role.
The candidate for this position must have prior experience managing an FPGA or ASIC software development project from architecture definition through production. A good understanding of all phases of FPGA SW development with emphasis on software architecture specification, RTL code, design verification, synthesis, place and route, final integration and silicon validation is desired. Experience in work estimation, schedule planning, and milestone tracking using dashboards and metrics is a plus. Strong judgment is expected in assessing and managing risks and key dependencies.
A knowledge of related areas like Silicon Technology, Package design, Signal Integrity and Power is beneficial. The candidate must be self-motivated and have excellent organization and communication skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate, energize and drive teams.
