Job Description

Intermediate consulting position operating independently with some assistance and guidance to provide quality work products to a project team or customer that comply with Oracle methodologies and practices. Performs standard duties and tasks with some variation to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer specifications.Standard assignments are accomplished without assistance by exercising independent judgment, within defined policies and processes, to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.2-5 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed., *An Oracle Senior WEBLOGIC and FMW Admin is expected to possess strong infrastructure and consulting skills and contribute to the Middleware infrastructure setup, installation, configuration and support. . The candidate must be open to work on 24x7 projects in any of the assigned shifts including US PSTResponsibilities:

  • Middleware environment administration (Install, configure, migrations, tuning, patching, administration & monitoring) on any middleware platform such as Oracle, IBM WebSphere etc.
  • Ensure the effective daily operation of the production / Middleware applications and provides administrative support for new implementations, upgrades, and migrations
  • Effective collaboration with infrastructure teams, application development teams, testing and release teams
  • Identify and quickly escalate potential issues with solution design, packaged software, client resources, or anything else that impacts your ability to deliver according to expectations
Required Knowledge & skills:
  • A minimum of 6 years hands-on experience in Infrastructure installation, configuration and support with emphasis on Middleware Infrastructure
  • Experience in provisioning and maintaining environments in any cloud platform like Oracle, Azure, AWS or Google
  • Strong knowledge of Unix and experience in shell scripting
  • Experience with Virtual Machine setup and migration
  • Working knowledge of Docker Containers and Orchestration
  • Working knowledge of Database Server products
  • Team player with strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills
  • Strong consulting skills to work in a professional manner with customer IT and business users
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio
Desired Skills:
  • Experience administering WebLogic servers is desired
  • Experience administering Oracle SOA Suite desired
  • Working knowledge of Kubernetes, Chef, Puppet is an advantage
  • Experience in JavaScript, PERL, NODE.JS from an administration perspective
  • Working knowledge of Storage and Networking from a Cloud platform perspective
  • Exposure and Experience to WLST scripting is desired
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Associate Certified
  • Exposure and Experience on OEM
  • Exposure and Experience on OMC
  • Exposure and Experience Installing, Configuring and administering Webcenter Portal and Webcenter Content
  • Exposure and Experience Configuring and Administering Oracle Integration Cloud
