Job Description

The SEO Tech team optimizes the dell.com website for findability by our customers searching Google, Bing, Yahoo, Baidu and other search engines. You will work with content and technology teams for SEO in Hyderabad and six other global cities, bringing your expertise in organic search, technical project management and web quality tools.Key Responsibilities :

  • Coordinate work on SEO cross-functional project teams, collaborating with analytics, engineering, online marketing, and web operations to improve natural search traffic, ranking and revenue, delivering clear results
  • Manage deployments of content and technical features. Provide project requirements, track progress, help solve technical and resource challenges, and communicate project progress
  • Understand and incorporate data and analysis to drive test plans and identify SEO opportunities
  • Carry out SEO functions, including keyword research, site audits, page speed tests, sitemap updates and defect identification
  • Maintain understanding of search industry and competitor activities and new online strategies and tools
Essential Requirements
  • Good knowledge of HTML/XML web technologies and Microsoft SharePoint Server.
  • Project management expertise. Ability to drive cross-functional project execution with high quality, focus on prioritization, timeliness and SLA adherence. Experience working with analytics, web development and business teams on complex projects.
  • Experience with web quality monitoring and audit tools and projects
  • Advanced Microsoft Office software skills: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders. Global stakeholder experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills. Strong verbal and written English language required. Additional languages are a plus
Desirable Requirements
  • SEO optimization and paid search skills. Proven track-record of increasing traffic and ranking within major search engines
  • Analytics capabilities with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Webtrends, Omniture SiteCatalyst)
  • Experience with SEO ranking tools (SearchMetrics, SEOClarity, BrightEdge, Conducter, etc)
  • Agile, Pivotal or BDD development team experience
