265558BRService Assurance ExpertJob DescriptionThis role will support driving the culture of application portfolio management and technology modernization across Novartis to ensure the of the Novartis application landscape with the lifecycle / renewal of all supporting / enabling technology components.Identify potential improvement areas for the systems or applications and connected services Support in maintaining and ensuring all application data is consistent across the various repositories Facilitate collection and distribution of knowledge about systems and services to enable effective support Ensure high data quality of Application related data in the defined application repository working closely with Service Operations Lead , Service Operations Managers and Application Managers for the assigned function / domain Drive the lifecycle management of application enabling components such as Application Servers , Databases , Operating Systems and other related runtime environments in alignment with the Business Enabling functions (BEF) and Centers of Excellence (COE) Build an application and technology lifecycle management culture across Novartis IT to ensure sustainability Animate the application manager community to have one vital community always informed on technical need for changes , best practices , and develop its skills Drive Application Portfolio Management , IT Technology Management and the adoption of enterprise technology standards for the Novartis Application portfolio Take accountability to ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within Application Technology service scope Support in definition and execution of Application Rationalization strategyEnsure agreed high quality of application data maintenance Ensure application rationalization targets are met Generate insights related to application portfolio under responsibility and identify savings opportunities (> 1 MUSD per year)Minimum requirementsBachelor s degree in engineering or equivalent English: Spoken & written 12+ years of experience in ITDivisionNBS Business UnitIT NBS CountryIndia Work LocationHyderabad , AP Company / Legal EntityNov Hltcr Shared Services IndFunctional AreaInformation Technology Job TypeFull TimeEmployment TypeRegular,
