Job Description

    Job Title: Site Engineer Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)Experience: 10 to 20 YearsIndustry: Energy/Power ProjectsAbout the Role:We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to oversee the implementation and execution of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in site management for energy projects, with a proven track record of ensuring high-quality standards, timely delivery, and compliance with safety regulations.Key Responsibilities:
    • Manage on-site execution of BESS projects, ensuring alignment with design specifications and project timelines.
    • Supervise and coordinate site activities, including civil, electrical, and mechanical works.
    • Ensure proper installation, commissioning, and integration of energy storage systems.
    • Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
    • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve any technical issues or delays.
    • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to address site-specific challenges.
    • Maintain accurate documentation, including progress reports, material usage, and work schedules.
    • Implement and enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
    Qualifications and Skills:
    • Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 10 years of hands-on site engineering experience, with a focus on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) or large-scale renewable energy projects.
    • Strong understanding of energy storage technologies, power systems, and grid integration.
    • Proven experience in site management, including handling contractors and subcontractors.
    • Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations related to energy projects.
    • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
    • Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in site management tools and software.
