Job Description

Position Summary: The Sitecore Developer will play an important role in implementing Sitecore across CS. While being an individual contributor should be able to work with other Sitecore Team Members to develop sitecore.com works.This position is located at CS, global shared office which is in establishing stage, so part of this Sitecore Developer Responsibilities will be to help setup best practices for coding, version, specification writing, and testing in Sitecore.com while working with the Sitecore Team. Key Responsible Areas:

  • This is a hands-on role focusing while making suggestions on enhancing the request based on their knowledge of the Sitecore CMS and its integrations with CS Software Applications and Products.
  • This person will work closely with the Web / Graphic Services Manager and Team to identify practical solutions through existing and/or new application systems technology, and will be responsible for development, testing, and ongoing support .
Required Candidate profileTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, the requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Required Education and Professional Experience: 4-6 years of overall experience in web application development primarily in the digital marketing space. 3-5 years experience designing and implementing major web content management systems (Site Core experience should be between 2-4 years).Mandatory Technical Skills:
  • Extensive knowledge of Sitecore CMS and Sitecore Experience Platform 8.0+
  • Excellent knowledge of MS SQL Server
  • Understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud technologies including technical infrastructure and application development.
  • An in-depth understanding of the Microsoft .NET technology stack and related technologies including ASP.NET MVC, C#, Entity Framework, LINQ, MongoDB and SQL.
  • Experience in ASP.NET, C#, VB, HTML 5, CSS, JQUERY, MVC/Web Forms, Entity Framework.
  • Proficiency in SQL Server, MySQL, and relational data models in context of web integration.
  • Proficiency with web services (WCF, Web API, SOAP, REST, SOA) JavaScript skills, particularly JQuery and Bootstrap is desired.
  • Fluency in development software applications such as Visual Studio .NET Experienced with Windows 2008/2010 R2/2012 Server, IIS 6.0/7.0/7/5 and basic network skills are desired. UML and Visio required.
  • Detailed understanding Content Management Systems, experience implementing large-scale global content management infrastructures.
