As a Senior Member of Technical Staff within the software validation organization of Radeon Technologies Group (RTG), you will be responsible for contributing to the development, implementation and maintenance of a comprehensive organizational test strategy for AMD RTG Software Products. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally and across regional geographies with software, hardware, project management, release management, and customer teams in order to drive and realize key initiatives. This function requires strong technical acumen and relevant industry experience in order to provide technical leadership to the test organization by: developing test system architecture, aligning the software validations pipeline, overseeing test data quality, performing test data analysis, reviewing product/feature design and implementation details with a focus on quality/testability.Basic Qualifications:- BS or MS in EE/CE/CSBS or related field- 10+ years of relevant industry experience- Strong Written, Verbal and Communication SkillsPreferred Qualifications:- Demonstrated solid understanding of modern computer architecture, real time systems, device drivers, and firmware- Knowledge of computer graphics technologies (Codecs, DirectX, OpenGL, Compute, DRM, VR, Security, etc.)- Knowledge of modeling and test development strategies- Knowledge of relevant standards (documentation, processes, terminology): ISO 25000, ISO 29119, CMMI/TMMI, ISTQB, etc.- Excellent interpersonal skills and strong ability to build and maintain relationships- Critical Thinking and Problem Solving skills- Excellent hands-on debug skills- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages, specifically: C/C++, Python, Linux Shell Scripts- Experience in developing software under Windows and Linux environments- Experience in developing test strategies, test plans, and test cases- Some database experience (SQL query, ETL pipeline) is a plus- Experience with REST API and extensible data formats (Json, XML) is a plus- Familiarity with ML frameworks, model training and tuning is a plus- Other programming/scripting languages (Ruby, C#, or others) are a plus,
