The candidate should be self- motivated, be able to work using the Microsoft development stack and be well versed in programming concepts such as OOP, Design Patterns, Unit Testing and SOA and have proven experience working with C#, MSSQL etc. The candidate must be able to work under minimal supervision in a highly collaborative environment.Job Responsibilities:Work in an agile development environmentDesign, develop and deliver software solutions per requirements and committed schedulesDevelop flexible software solutions thatfulfillcurrent and changing requirementsTest, debug and add enhancements to existing applicationsProduce detailed technical specifications based on requirements and designAbility to code review and provide recommendationsRequired Skills:Minimum 3 years of experience in software development.Strong understanding of Object Oriented and Service Oriented ArchitecturesSolid understanding of C#, .NET FrameworkC#, REST, JSON, Web Service, WebAPI, Unit TestGood understanding of relational databases, SQL queries, triggers and stored proceduresExcellent English language skills, both written and oral.Good documentation, unit- testing, and debugging skillsGood presentation and communication skillsAbility to learn and adapt quickly to changing requirementsIn line with the current latest developments with the Microsoft and Web stacks.Desired Skills:Healthcare experienceExperience with NextGen Ambulatory software.Experience with medical IT standards and organizations such as HL7 and HIEs.Strong knowledge of medical terminologies, data models and coding systems.Experience at multiple levels of medical IT integration (Abulatory, Inpatient, HIE, etc.)Bachelor s degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.NextGen Healthcare helps ambulatory care organizations transition to value- based care by empowering them to nurture measurably healthier patient communities at a lower cost.
