Manage a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.As a manager of the software engineering division, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. Typically one year of software engineering or related experience., *Oracle Utilities Global Business Unit is looking for a hands-on technical development manager to lead the development and enhancement of cloud based Oracle Utilities Application Framework on which various Oracle Utility applications like Customer Case and Billing (CCB), Work and Asset Management (WAM) and Meter Data Management Solutions (MDM) are built. You should be hand-on and comfortable to deep dive into technology and will be responsible for design, code reviews, debugging and suggesting improvements to the existing cloud enabled platform architecture. You will work in an Agile environment to ensure that the team is delivering the right product at the right time. Create clear visibility into status and progress- proactively manage risks. Foster a continuous improvement cycle to build organizational efficiency in an informal environment where change is the norm. Preferred Qualifications The key responsibilities include: - Managing and growing an agile team that designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs cloud based J2EE applications Drive releases and be involved in planning, development, and release of new versions as well as patches. Should be able to management both support and development projectsDeep understanding of Generic Java technologies (J2SE 1.7/1.8), Java EE, Servlets, JSP, REST Services,Engineering degree required, Computer Science discipline preferred Strong design and Core Java/J2ee and Javascript skillsExperience with cloud native technologies like kubernetes, docker, kibana, kafkaExcellent analytical skills, professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills required
