Software Engineer - Analytics EngineeringRole/ Department Description:The Risk and Fixed Income Groupis currently seeking a talentedindividualto takeon a developmentrole within the team.The team is responsible for the development, enhancement and support of tools required by the Product Development team to deliver high quality analytics to FactSet s clients.Responsibilities:Develop new applications and enhancements to existing Fixed Income applicationsMaintain and fix bugs in existing Fixed Income applicationsWork with Fixed Income Product Development to understand project requirements and work with other Analytics Engineers on the technical design of those solutionsProvide regular project status updates to Team LeadWork with QA team to prioritize and resolve issuesRequired Skills:2-4 years of industry experienceProfessional C# experience. WPF experience is a plusExperience with Single page application development, especially AngularJS is a plusProficiency with C++/ C# and Object-Oriented design principlesDesign experience with multi-tier web architectures and RESTful services is a plusAbility to articulate and quickly adopt development best practicesExcellent organizational and communication skillsWillingness to work as a member of a team, including participating in peer code reviews and maintaining project and operational documentationAbility to set own goals based on shifting priorities for selfAbility to work as part of a geographically diverse teamAbility to create and review documentation and test plansAbility to communicate with both technical and non-technical peopleB.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent,
