TEAM BRIEF The Client Infrastructure team develops application frameworks and technologies for FactSet s primary Workstation production , including application management , search , integration with the Symphony chat platform , and embedding Chromium.We are looking for a dynamic individual to take on the role of a software engineer. You would be building and maintaining Factset s fork of popular open source software CEF (Chromium Embedded Framework). You will integrate latest CEF changes into our codebase and maintain the CEF build framework on AWS. Part of your job will be to debug workstation crashes due to CEF.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Develop new features for the products as requested by stakeholders Collaborate with other developers to come up with creative solutions using the latest technologies R&D Maintain existing product features by working on bug fixes and code refactors Provide project status updates to stakeholders on a regular basis Work with QA team to resolve issues JOB REQUIREMENTS 2 years of industry experience building applications in C Sound knowledge of object oriented design principals Ability to articulate and quickly adopt development best practices Excellent organizational and communication skills Willingness to work as a member of a team , participate in peer code reviews , maintain project and operational documentation Ability to work as part of a geographically diverse team Ability to communicate with both technical and non -technical people,
